About Us

MissionServ International Aid, Inc. is a U.S.-based nonprofit that connects donors and local institutions to help meet humanitarian needs. Building on a legacy of service that began in 1998, we bring resources, knowledge, and people together to support communities.

A legacy of service since 1998

The work behind MissionServ began in Washington, DC, in 1998. Through earlier initiatives, organizations, and partnerships, this work developed practical experience in humanitarian assistance, resource mobilization, and community development.

Over the years, resources obtained from countries including the United States and Germany have supported projects and institutions in Brazil. These efforts connected available surplus equipment and materials with needs in healthcare, education, water access, agriculture, infrastructure, and community services.

Experience that guides our work

One significant chapter of this history involved work connected with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP), through which excess property could be made available for international humanitarian purposes.

Resources obtained and directed through this experience included medical and laboratory equipment, generators, furniture, vehicles, specialized equipment, small observation aircraft, and infrastructure materials.

Among the notable initiatives were two large shipments of metal pipes from Europe, intended for irrigation and water-supply projects, including initiatives in Ceará, Brazil.

Alongside these efforts, MissionServ partnered with FUNDAMED and Project HOPE to organize more than 120 volunteer missions in Brazil. Professionals and volunteers contributed through medical and surgical services, construction, education, music, and other community activities.

This history brings practical knowledge of identifying needs, developing partnerships, obtaining resources, coordinating humanitarian logistics, and following the intended use of donated goods.

Our next chapter

Today, MissionServ is building on this experience to develop new partnerships with organizations, businesses, churches, foundations, public institutions, and individuals who share a commitment to humanitarian service.

Our purpose remains the same: to bring people, resources, and opportunities together in ways that strengthen communities.

Our Work

Practical support starts with the right connections.

Communities and local institutions often know what they need but face difficulties accessing equipment, expertise, or potential donors. At the same time, useful resources may be available elsewhere.

MissionServ helps connect these needs and opportunities through resource sourcing, volunteer expertise, and humanitarian partnerships.

Equipment & Resource Donations

We identify potential sources of donated equipment, surplus property, and useful materials that can support humanitarian and community projects.

Our experience includes medical and laboratory equipment, generators, furniture, vehicles, specialized equipment, and materials for water and infrastructure projects.

We work with local partners to understand their needs and explore whether available resources are suitable for their intended use.

Training & Volunteer Expertise

Humanitarian support also comes through the knowledge and skills people are willing to share.

We seek opportunities to connect institutions and communities with professionals, volunteers, and technical partners who can contribute through training, capacity building, and practical service.

Our history includes volunteer missions supporting healthcare, surgery, construction, education, music, and community activities.

Humanitarian Partnerships

We bring potential donors, local institutions, and supporting organizations into conversation around concrete needs.

These partnerships may involve equipment donations, technical cooperation, volunteer service, or support for the coordination and movement of humanitarian resources.

We welcome collaboration with businesses, foundations, churches, public institutions, nonprofit organizations, and individuals.

How We Work

  1. 1

    Understand the need

We begin by listening to local partners and learning about the institution, community, and intended purpose of the support.

  2. 2

    Identify resources and partners

We explore potential donors, surplus resources, professional expertise, and organizations whose capabilities may match the identified needs.

  3. 3

    Coordinate the next steps

We help bring the parties together to clarify requirements, responsibilities, documentation, and practical arrangements.

  4. 4

    Support the intended use

We work with partners to help direct resources toward their intended humanitarian purpose and encourage communication about their use.

Where We Focus

Our experience has primarily served South America, especially Brazil. We are building on that foundation to explore new humanitarian partnerships, including support for volunteer fire and rescue organizations in Paraguay.

Our broader mission includes healthcare, education, water access, infrastructure, emergency response, and community development.

Each opportunity is considered individually. Available resources, suitability, documentation, transportation, and local requirements influence what can be achieved.

Let’s explore what we can make possible together.

Whether you have equipment to offer, expertise to share, or a community need to discuss, we welcome the opportunity to connect.
